How to create a new single/double elimination tournaments/playoffs - General Forum

Create a single/double elimination playoffs/tournaments is quite easy.

Hi YouPlayoff. First of all thanks for this amazing page. I have a problem, I want to create a playoff and post all the inscription steps so all the players can see it, but I have to asigne the number of players since the beginning, and i dont know yet how many of them they are. So .... is there anyway of change this parameter after the playoff have been created?

Currently, once a playoff is published, you cannot modify the number of players. And if the playoff is not published, the other users cannot see the brackets.

One suggestion is that you can make the number to a maximum estimate and use BYE if necessary.

Once possible way is to introduce in a preview flag so that you can give your players a preview brackets and later modify the player numbers. Will work on the feature shortly.

The preview link feature has been implemented.

It is on the top right side beside the delete link when you set up the playoff.

Use this link for public view for any unpublished playoffs and you can modify all the basic settings for an unpublished playoff.

I have another question :P

The tournament is with colombian players, it´s allowed to put the info of the tournament in spanish lenguage?, or is there a only english policy for the page?.
