Sometimes, you may need to add a BYE to allow a player/team to advance without playing in the initial rounds and you may think of creating fake player/team and add them to the brackets. This approach works but generally it is just a work around and you may have to report unnecessary scores.

Fortunately, YouPlayoff has already had a feature to allow you to add BYE.

In the Initialize Player Tab, you may notice:






By adding BYE, you will get a bracket like this:
